Bus, car hire services to commence at Gateway Int’l Airport, says Abiodun

Odogbolu chairman donates car, bike to two aides

Ogun State Governor, Dapo Abiodun, has disclosed that bus shuttles that will move passengers and their luggage from major towns and cities in the state to the Gateway International Airport are being worked out as part of efforts to ensure ease of movement to the airport.

Abiodun also revealed that plans were at an advanced stage to have a car hire service operating at the airport. The governor stated this, yesterday, when he boarded a Valuejet scheduled commercial flight to Abuja, noting that his administration is working to ensure that the airport continues to witness new developments.

IN another development, Chairman of Ododgbolu Local Council, Dr. Babatunde Oyetola Diya, has presented a car and a motorcycle to two deserving members of his team.

According to a statement signed by Chief Press Secretary to the office of the Chairman, Otudero Seyi Oluwaseun, the Chief of Staff, Adedamola Feyemi, was gifted with the Toyota Camry, while Senior Special Assistant to the Chairman, Nurudeen Adekoya, got the motorcycle.

The gifts, according to him, were in a remarkable show of appreciation and recognition of loyalty, dedication and outstanding service to the council’s progress and development.

Diya, who spoke with The Guardian on the phone yesterday, on the support by the state government towards the council, commended Abiodun for the various infrastructural developments going on within the state.
