CAN Cautions Against Crisis In Benue PFN

IN reaction to speculations in the media over the looming crisis facing the Benue state chapter of the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN) over emergence of its new leadership, the state Chairman of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), Archbishop Yiman Orkwagh, has warned those causing trouble in the organisation for selfish reasons to desist from it or risk sanction.

Orkwagh, who made the condemnation while speaking with The Guardian said as far as PFN in Benue is concerned, the new Chairman of PFN in the state is Bishop Mike Angour, insisting that the latter has been legally elected to oversee the affairs of the organisation in the state.

The CAN Chairman explained that the purported election of Bishop Benjamin Kurudu last year was declared null and void by the national secretariat of the PFN, following a protest by members who alleged that some illegal members of the advisory board were brought in to participate in the election.
