Chelsea, Spurs In Capital One Cup Battle At Wembley
CHELSEA manager Jose Mourinho will be happy to win the Capital One Cup trophy today at Wembley, as they face Tottenham in a re-run of 2008’s League Cup final.
Seven years ago, Jonathan Woodgate clinched the trophy for Spurs with an extra-time header and Chelsea will be keen for revenge this afternoon.
One player who will be the centre of attraction today is Spurs danger man, Harry Kane. Kane’s friends and family are expected to journey from his home town in Essex to the national stadium to witness the latest episode.
His progress has acquired a quite incredible momentum since he was starting out on loan in League One at Leyton Orient and finding it hard to hold down a place at Leicester in the Championship, less than two years ago.
