Joshua Denne at SDK Co. is developing the ways we can protect our digital identities

Statistically, a survey concluded that 74% of U.S. Internet users are worried about the lack of privacy they have online. While at the same time, 90% of U.S. adults can say that they are heavily dependent on the Internet, especially due the most recent years of the COVID-19 pandemic. With this conflict in interest, it is interesting to see how the idea of protecting your digital identity – your personal profile in the cyberspace – will become more important. With the concern of having your actions, exchanges, and data being accessed and put at risk, having the proper security online will only become more vital.

As the Web continues to expand, by 2025 the amount of data is expected to reach 163 zettabytes worldwide. With this amount of information, the targets for online threats and cyberattacks will only become larger in size. Therefore, giving individuals the proper resources to prevent those online attacks from happening should become just as standard as using the Internet is. Joshua Denne, investor and entrepreneur, is attempting to lead the way towards advancing the technological resources that can give individuals that online protection that is needed. He is doing so with his work with SDK Co., which is a tech solutions company with a mission to allow people to “regain control, establish dominion over their data, and securely own their digital assets.”

The latest development and release for the company was the Meta Zero smartphone-like device. The idea for the Meta Zero was to give its users the chance to toggle between private and public mode when performing everyday activities. In private mode, the user will be able to perform any activity, including communicate with others, in complete privacy, as it will be encrypted through the use of a global LTE network. The user can also use public mode when total privacy is not needed, like for the use of social media. With this privacy design, the ultimate goal is meant to give the Meta Zero user zero privacy violations, zero data breaches, zero attacks or hacks, and zero knowledge architecture.

As the need for digital identity security will only increase over time, Denne is looking forward to continue his work with blockchain-based technologies to expand SDK Co.’s scope.
