WITH the aim of attracting esteem to the interior design industry in the country, a stakeholder in the sector, Decor and Rainbow has introduced an international diploma course to boost the standards of practitioners.

Speaking at a press briefing in Lagos , the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Decor and Rainbow, Mr. Michael Banjo, said there is need to be educated before offering services in the sector.

While speaking to The Guardian, he pointed out that “a good understanding of the industry is important, as this will enhance the training of students to meet international standards.”

As the CEO of Decor Fusion and Decor Cribs, both in the United Kingdom (UK), Banjo stated that his experience in interior design both in UK and Nigeria would distinguish his students from other creative agencies.

He added that designers from the UK will be invited to tutor students during the 48 weeks course.
