Dogara Assures Nigerians Of APC’s High Performance

THE All Progressives Congress (APC) led administration would surely live up to the expectations of Nigerians, the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Yakubu Dogara, has assured.

Speaking during a thanksgiving service in honour of Austine Chukwukere, a member representing Ideato North/Ideato South Federal Constituency of Imo State, at St. Luke’s Anglican Church, Obodoukwu Ideato North Local Government Area of Imo State yesterday, he said the mere fact that President Muhammadu Buhari took his time to constitute his cabinet speaks volume of his resolve to tackle the multifaceted problems bedeviling the polity.

Noting that it was not surprising that, in recent times, some Nigerians were becoming worried as to whether the APC led government would live up to their expectations.

He assured Nigerians that the APC government is laying a solid foundation that will last for generations, adding that this would require time, diligence and patience on the part of the people.

Urging Nigerians to be more patient with the government, he noted: “I have interracted with leaders of the APC at all levels and I have no doubt in my mind as to their commitment to delivering the promised change and transform this country to greatness.”
