Youths

To survive in the present-day Nigeria, youths must acquire skills that would give them an edge in the labour market. The Secretary General, Ekiti Parapo, Sunday Olowoyobiojo, said this while speaking as guest speaker at the yearly Ekiti Week, tagged, Iyan Day, organised by the Federation of Ekiti State Student Union (FESSU), UNILAG Chapter.

Olowoyobiojo noted that youth must realise that the attainment of academic qualifications or professional certification is not enough, as they need employability skills to excel in the labour market.

Olowoyobiojo noted that despite Ekiti State and Nigeria being blessed with abundant human and natural resources, majority of the youths are faced with challenges of unemployment, lack of access to credit, among others.
