Sharing his thoughts, Chairman of Nasarawa United FC, Solomon Babanjah, said the new additions and the team’s strategy will help to improve the team’s performance in the upcoming campaign.
“At the end of the 2024/25 NPFL season, some of our players left us for other clubs, particularly those whose deals with us had expired.
“So, to make our intention known for the coming season, we have decided to acquire these new players, who we feel have what it takes to help us achieve our set goals.”
“Part of our goals is a continental spot, and with the arrival of our new Technical Adviser, Mangut Mbwas, coupled with the quality of players, and support of the Nasarawa State government and other stakeholders, we believe we can achieve our target.”
Apart from Imo Prince, other players unveiled to the fans were Lawal Akanni, a winger, who joined the club from Kwara United of Ilorin, Gozie Umeh, a defensive midfielder from Enyimba, goalkeeper Olughu Onu Chinemerem from Ikorodu City and Moses Botia Tsetuan, a central defender from Lobi Stars of Makurdi.

Central defender Moses Tsetuan described the feeling as homecoming, having played for the Solid Miners in the past.
“It feels so good to be back to where I once played and contributed largely to the team’s success.
“I promise to continue from where I last stopped, but this time around, I will redouble my efforts to help the team achieve its set goals,” he said.
