Former Secretary to the State Government (SSG) in Kogi, Chief Shola Ojo; former Chairman of Okehi Local Council, Abubakar Suberu and business mogul, Chief Dare Olatunde have been named as Chairman, Director-General and Secretary, respectively, of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) Governorship Campaign Council for the November 11 election in the state.
Two-term member of the House of Representatives for Yagba Federal Constituency, Leke Abejide, is the ADC standard bearer, while former National President, Nigerian Medical Association (NMA), Dr. Idris Omede, is his running mate.
Ojo, Suberu and Olatunde emerged among the names listed in the campaign council, as the party inaugurated the various committees to coordinate its electioneering process in the state.
National Chairman of the party, Dr. Ralphs Nwosu, who inaugurated the council, on Tuesday, in Lokoja, eulogised the state party executives for their steadfastness, stating that within the next three months, ADC would come with the best brains to rescue and transform the state.
