Family, friends, and associates will gather on Sunday, October 19, in Lagos to commemorate one year since the passing of Mrs Modupe Temitope Dada, wife of Mr Mike Dada, President and Executive Producer of the All Africa Music Awards (AFRIMA).
The memorial service, scheduled to be held at Grace Assembly Church, Yard 158, Kudirat Abiola Way, Oregun-Ikeja, will take place from 12:00 noon to 1:00 p.m. It is expected to be a solemn gathering of worship and remembrance in honour of the late Mrs Dada, who passed away on October 19, 2024, aged 48.
In a message inviting friends and associates, Mr Dada, who is also the Managing Director of PRM Africa Marketing and Communications, expressed gratitude for the support his family has received since the loss.
“It’s been a year since my beloved wife, Modupe, went to be with the Lord. You are warmly invited as we worship, remember, and give thanks for her inspiring life,” he wrote.
Mrs Dada, described by those close to her as “kindness personified,” was a respected banking professional who served with distinction at several financial institutions in Nigeria. She was widely admired for her diligence, commitment, and leadership in the workplace.
The memorial service, to be led by Reverend Femi Paul, will reflect on her life of compassion, grace, and faith — qualities that, according to family and friends, continue to shape the lives of those she touched.
A year on, her memory endures among those who recall her warmth and quiet strength, even as her husband and loved ones prepare to celebrate what they describe as “a life lived in service, love, and faith.”
