Governor Ahmadu Fintiri of Adamawa State has appointed 182 Special Assistants in a move aimed at bolstering his administration’s effectiveness.

The appointments, according to a statement released yesterday by the Chief Press Secretary, Humwashi Wonosikou, take immediate effect.

Our correspondent observed that the list encompasses a diverse group of individuals from various professional backgrounds.

Among those appointed are Diana Beatrice Gayus, Barr. Mahmud Abubakar, Mohammed Hamma, Thomas Godwin, and Engr. Yusuf Abdu Audu.

The list also includes notable names like Peter Gengle, Anthony Emmanuel, and Mrs. Justina Sebastian.

The announcement, made through Chief Wonosikou from the Governor’s office, stated that the appointments are aimed at enhancing governance and ensuring a more efficient delivery of services across the state.

It would be recalled that the governor had in August last year appointed 47 media aides, an action which some of the citizens frowned at.
