Firm launches Valentine season campaign to support SMEs
Africa’s multi-merchant loyalty, deals and cash-back company, ThankUCash, has launched a Valentine season campaign in pursuit of its mission to create solutions that help SMEs to excel.
In most African markets, loyalty, deals and rewards services are a rarity. The unit economics and other factors such as currency instability make such businesses hard to pull off in the region.
ThankUCash (TUC), a platform launched by Connected Analytics, said in a statement yesterday that it was focused on connecting customers with businesses to help them grow and prosper while helping customers get the best deals and earn some cashback on every purchase made.
The statement explained that with ThankUCash, merchants could upload deals and discounts, as well as reward customers, thereby growing their business by retaining customers using TUC’s Customer Loyalty as a Service (CLaaS) solution.
The firm said it has built products to achieve customer loyalty and retention.
“Last month, the company raised $5.3 million in seed funding to build infrastructure for cash-back, deals, remittance and BNPL services, and an additional $1 million as a follow-on investment from Expert DOJO.
“Also, as a way of giving back to the society, ThankUCash has set out to launch a Valentine’s season campaign in a bid to celebrate and appreciate merchants and customers. They will be helping users earn rewards, and cash-backs on every purchase made at ThankUCash merchant stores, as well as on the ThankUCash app.
“They will also be offering massive deals and discounts to make the best products and services – food, beauty and spa, health, fitness, fashion, electronics and many more, available and affordable to all. Also, in a bid to help users get the most from the benefits and offerings of ThankUCash, there will be three-day product activation from February 14-16,” the statement added.
