Foundation tasks Nigerians on welfare of widows, orphans
The Triumphant Foundation, a non-government organisation with interest in welfare of widows and orphans has appealed to well-meaning Nigerians to assist vulnerable people across the country.
The founder, Pastor Patrick Olusegun Tinka at the Great Mothers Gathering (GMG) 2019, in Lagos, said the event was aimed at giving support to widows, single mothers and unprepared mothers, to shape their capabilities into concrete responses.
“It is a concept I received few years ago, to bring the above mentioned mothers together, give them a platform where they harness capabilities into concrete responses.
“The GMG vision is not going to end this year, we are going to metamorphose into a national advocacy platform for the support of motherhood with structured state chapters, which shall be headed by a woman in each state of the nation,” he said.
