Nigerian acts Asake, Tems, and Rema have been nominated for the 2025 MOBO Awards, which will be held at Newcastle’s Utilita Arena, England, on February 18, 2025.
The artistes were nominated in the Best African Music Act category alongside fellow compatriots Ayra Starr, Bnxn, Ruger, Odumodublvck, and Shallipopi.
Acts in the category from other nationalities include Tyla (South Africa), Uncle Waffles (South Africa) and King Promise (Ghana),
Asake, Ayra Starr, and Tems were also nominated in the Best International Act category. They will compete against Beyonce, Kendrick Lamar, and others for the award.
A British Nigerian, Jordan Adetunji, bagged two nominations – Best Newcomer and Song Of The Year.
