Govt Inaugurates Transition Committee Chairmen

THE Imo State government has installed two additional Transition Committee Chairmen-Amadi Ebenezer and Osondu Ogueri, to oversee the affairs of Ohaji /Egbema and Ihitte Uboma council areas, respectively.
 
Recall that the other 25 chairmen were inaugurated few weeks back.
 
During the inauguration, the deputy governor, Eze Madumere, urged them to be good ambassadors of the mission and vision of the “Rescue Mission” administration in the state, adding that their performance would be tied to their future political career. He said the governor, Rochas Okorocha, appointed them on merit.  
 
He urged them to fight corruption in the councils by ensuring that workers attended to work as required statutorily.  

Reacting, the duo expressed their happiness over the appointments, pledging their unflinching support to the administration in delivering their mandates.
 
Among those present were the Principal Secretary to the Deputy Governor, Nze Obinna Aharanwa and the immediate past chairman of the Ohaji/Egbema Local council, Gideon Mefor.
