The Inspector-General of Police, IGP Kayode Egbetokun, has arrived in Denver, Colorado, USA, along with other senior officers of the Nigeria Police Force, to attend the 2025 International Association of Chiefs of Police (IACP) Conference.
Nigeria Police Force Spokesperson, CSP Benjamin Hundeyin, made this disclosure on X on Saturday morning.
The IACP Annual Conference and Exposition is the largest and most significant law enforcement event of the year.
This premier event brings together law enforcement professionals, policymakers, and industry leaders from around the world. With a focus on promoting excellence in policing and fostering collaboration, the conference serves as a platform for sharing best practices, discussing emerging trends, and addressing critical issues facing law enforcement agencies globally. Each year, more than 16,000 public safety professionals participate to learn cutting-edge techniques, enhance their professional knowledge, and equip their departments for sustained success in service delivery.
The 2025 edition will feature four days of education and networking, while the exposition hall, open from Sunday through Tuesday, will host over 600 vendors showcasing state-of-the-art products and services designed to advance global policing.
The three main tenets of the conference—training, networking, and exhibit hall education is expected to align with IGP Egbetokun’s ongoing efforts to transform the Nigeria Police Force into a world-class institution grounded in competence, innovation, and accountability.
