Poverty level in Imo State has reduced from 51 to 19 per cent, the state governor, Rochas Okorocha, has said.

Okorocha, who said this while addressing members of the Imo Government House Victory Chapel, promised that the first 50 worshipers at the chapel would get a total of N100,000 for punctuality.

He harped on the need for Christians to remain faithful, urging them to support his administration in its drive to deliver its campaign promises.

He said the World Bank records made available to the state government indicated that the state performed impressively in terms of the impact of its policies on the lives of people of the state.

Okorocha also said government has started construction of two fly-over bridges at Okigwe and Amakohia Roads in Owerri.
