Institute holds maiden parley, elects new exco
THE British Institute of Facilities Management (BIFM) Nigeria Region has organised its maiden breakfast meeting with the theme: “The Future of Facilities Management in Nigeria: Emerging Trends.”
The one-day event, which held recently in Lagos, afforded participants a veritable platform to dissect key issues affecting the facility management sector.
The British Deputy High Commissioner to Nigeria, Ray Kyles, who was the special guest, delivered the keynote address followed by presentations and group discussions.
Also, an executive committee has been inaugurated to ensure proper management and running of the chapter.
Mrs. Wale Odufalu is the chairman of the committee, while Tunde Obileye serves as vice chair for Lagos zone. Olumide Aina is vice chair for Abuja zone while Edward Lawani emerged secretary.
Others are Mrs. Helen Majemite clinched the position of Events Coordinator as well as Hassan Hassan (Treasurer) and Adefemi Adejumo, emerged committee member.
