The Ede Senior Citizens Club has praised its patron, Dr. Deji Adeleke, for his bold step towards addressing one of Nigeria’s most critical development challenges following the commissioning of a new power plant in the country.
In a statement signed by the club’s President, Alhaji Mumini Lekan Salami, the organisation congratulated Adeleke on the landmark project, calling it a vital investment in the nation’s future.
“Power is the backbone of industrial development and a vital infrastructure for boosting civilisation,” the statement read. “The investment of our dear patron, Dr. Deji Adeleke, in this sector is highly commendable and worthy of celebration.”
According to the club, the project is a testament to Adeleke’s commitment to national development and sets a positive example for other entrepreneurs in Ede and across Nigeria.
“We, the members of the Ede Senior Citizens Club, together with the people of Ede, congratulate you and pray for sustainable and profitable operations of this laudable investment,” the statement continued. “It is our wish to see more of such strides from the sons and daughters of Ede, and indeed, Nigeria at large.”
