Itodo who is also the Kogi state Chairman of Inter Party Advisory Council (IPAC) was removed following grave allegations of anti party activities and acts considered detrimental to the interest of the Party.

In a letter conveying the suspension order, signed by the National Secretary of the Party, Barrister Olukayode Ajulo, the party indicated that, “In exercise of the powers conferred on it by the constitution of the party, it has decided to suspend you as the State Secretary of the party forthwith, pending the outcome of the disciplinary committee set up by the party.”
