Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State has approved the appointment of nine distinguished professionals to the Governing Council of the Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH) Teaching Hospital, Ogbomoso.
The announcement was contained in an official letter signed by the Chief of Staff to the Governor, Otunba Segun Ogunwuyi, indicating that the appointments take immediate effect.
Leading the newly constituted council is renowned academic and public health expert, Prof. Banji Oyeyinka Oyelaran, who will serve as Chairman.
Other members of the Governing Council include Mr Olatunde Gabriel Oyelade, Dr Bello Adebayo Taiwo, Mrs Isola Agnes Bolanle, Dr Akintunde Kehinde Ayinde, Prof. Olawale Adebayo Olakulehin, Prof. Adenike Olugbenga-Bello, Dr Oluwajoba Olayinka, and Mr Aderemi Adeniyi Adediji, who will serve as Secretary to the Council.
Governor Makinde congratulated the appointees, urging them to bring their wealth of experience and professionalism to bear in improving the quality of healthcare delivery and medical education at the institution. He charged the council members to serve with dedication, integrity, and loyalty to the state.
