MUTUAL Benefits Assurance Franchise retail unit has generated over N250million premium income for the company in 2015.

The unit which was inaugurated one year ago was specifically designed to provide employment and income generating opportunity to retired matured and experienced civil servants, ex-military and para military officers, bankers, architects, tax consultants, accountants, retired fire fighters and other business men and women.

The General Manager Mutual Benefits Retail, Demola Fagbayi , said during a press briefing to mark the one year anniversary that has 316 franchisee across the country.

He said that the long term focus of the company is to open at least one Mutual Office in all the local government headquarters in Nigeria and employ 250,000 franchises and retail marketers by the year 2020.

With over 40 business outlets and 7000 retail marketers nationwide Mutual Benefits has taken insurance business crusade to the grass-root thereby creating massive employment opportunities and financial empowerment to several thousands of our stakeholders.

Also, DGM Public Accounts and Business Development, Mutual Benefits Assurance Plc, Ashuru Mobolaji ,who spoke on behalf of the board and management of the company said they are looking at additional reward system for the franchisee aimed at boosting their performance.

According to him the company main focus is to take insurance to all nooks and crannies in Nigeria and one of the ways to achieve this is to engage franchisee and agents to sell these products that are targeted at the grassroots
