The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control has discovered four new cases of coronavirus in two states in the country.

“Four new cases of #COVID19 have been reported in Nigeria; 3 in Osun and 1 in Ogun,” NCDC tweeted Tuesday morning.

“As at 11:15 am 31st March there are 135 confirmed cases of #COVID19 reported in Nigeria with 2 deaths.”

Of the 135 confirmed cases, Lagos state has 81, FCT has 25, and Oyo has eight cases.

Osun has five cases, Ogun has four, Kaduna has three, while Edo, Enugu, and Bauchi states have two cases each.

Ekiti, Rivers and Benue states have recorded one case each. On Monday, Nigeria recorded a second death from the virus.

Lagos State and Abuja have been shut down since Monday night, a move by the Nigerian government to stop the spread of the dreaded virus. Both cities have recorded the highest number of the cases.

However, some other states have also some form of measures to as well curb the spread.

So far, three state governors and President Muhammadu Buhari Chief of State Abba Kyari are among the people infected by the virus.
