Founder of Facado Orphanage, Abuja, Mrs. Ngozi Anih yesterday appealed to the Federal Government to financially assist orphanage homes.
Anih said in an interview with the News of Nigeria (NAN) that such assistance would help the homes to take care of the children and social workers since they bridge and provide succour for the less privilege.
She raised concerns over government’s lukewarm attitude towards social and welfare intervention in rescuing and nurturing children who are victims of circumstances.
