Sanwo-Olu praised the contributions of Corps Members to the development of Lagos, describing the NYSC programme as a “national pride.”
He noted that participants should “wear the experience with dignity and honour.”
The Governor further said that as a Government, Lagos State is responsible and responsive to the needs of Scheme.
Sanwo-Olu also pledged to consider the NYSC’s requests for an ambulance and other equipment to improve the operations of the Scheme in Lagos State.
The governor revealed that the minimum allowance for Corps Members serving in Lagos government agencies has been increased to reflect current economic realities.
