News Central TV, closely working with Ghanaian authorities, has successfully uncovered a human trafficking syndicate leading to the rescue of two Nigerian boys, Zeal and Daniel, who were trafficked across borders and exploited in Ghana.

This high-stakes operation sheds light on the dangers of cross-border trafficking and the impact of joint efforts in investigative journalism and law enforcement.

This development comes after News Central reported on the plea from the mothers of Daniel and Zeal, residents of Ikota Resettlement Estate in Lagos, urging authorities to expedite efforts to locate and rescue their children, who were lured by unidentified individuals promising employment in the movie industry.

The boys were reportedly lured to Ghana with false promises of employment but were exploited for fraudulent activities instead. According to the victims, they were blindfolded and moved to the location where they were found. News Central also confirmed that the kidnappers assaulted the victims at the crime scene.

Ghanaian authorities stormed the location of the kidnappers recently following reports of their investigation.

The Ghanaian Police arrested two suspected traffickers at the scene and the two boys were safely rescued, providing crucial evidence to authorities to dismantle part of the network involved.
