The National President of the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN), Bishop Francis Wale Oke; Pastor Sam Adeyemi of Daystar Christian Centre; Rev. Gbeminiyi Eboda; Dr. Kay Ijisesan; Rev. Femi Oduwole, and other clerics are billed to minister at the 30th anniversary of the Ibadan-based Global Harvest Church.
Founded by Reverend Victor Adeyemi, the ministry will mark the milestone with a week-long celebration themed Spirit of Gratitude.
Speaking ahead of the anniversary, Rev. Adeyemi said the event was not for “gloating” but to give all praise to God for sustaining the church’s mission over the past three decades.
The ministry, inaugurated on September 30, 1995, at the Premier Hotel, Ibadan, has since grown to over 40 branches worldwide.
Adeyemi noted that the vision for the future is to expand further, hold hundreds of mega crusades, and intensify media outreach to promote nation-building through moral and cultural renewal.
The anniversary celebration will run from Tuesday, September 30 to Sunday, October 5, 2025, at the Grace Cathedral, 325 Harvest House Drive, Liberty Road, Ibadan.
The programme will begin on Tuesday, September 30, with an opening and award ceremony tagged Homecoming Night, celebrating the ministry’s history and honouring outstanding workers and church planters.
The session will also feature a blessing from Bishop Francis Wale Oke.
From Wednesday, October 1 to Friday, October 3, there will be daytime teaching sessions and School of Ministry workshops with guest speakers including Wale Oke, Sam Adeyemi, Gbeminiyi Eboda, Kay Ijisesan, Femi Oduwole and others, focused on equipping participants for effective service.
On Saturday, October 4, an ordination service will be held for the commissioning of new ministers, while the celebration will climax on Sunday, October 5, with a grand thanksgiving service.
Adeyemi said the week would be dedicated to gratitude and rededication to God’s purpose for the church.
