The Ogun State Police Command has found the seven-year-old girl that was announced missing a few days ago.
In a statement on Sunday, the command said the girl was found in Ayetoro, Ogun State, by its anti-kidnapping team.
The operation led by the Commissioner of Police, CP Lanre Ogunlowo, led to the arrest of some suspects.
However, the command failed to reveal the Identities of the suspects but promised to give more details at a press briefing on Monday.
The girl was believed to have been kidnapped by a customer that often patronised her mother’s point-of-sale store in Ogun.
When she reported the case to a police station, some officers demanded money from her to enable them locate the missing girl.
Raising the alarm on social media, a swift action was taken and the officers were arrested and detained pending further investigation.
