The victim, a successful plank seller, until his disappearance was the Vice-Chairman of the Lanfenwa, Abeokuta branch of the Planks Sellers Association.

The Association Chairman, Mr. Musulimi Abayomi told journalists in Abeokuta yesterday that after purchasing the planks, Kehinde hired the services of a haulage company to convey the goods to Abeokuta but as at yesterday afternoon, the whereabouts of the driver, simply referred to as Sesan or the victim is yet to be known.
The vehicle used to convey the planks have however been traced to the Haulage company’s premises at Ibafo, few kilometres from Abeokuta without the goods.
Abayomi disclosed, “When he (victim) left Ondo with the driver, he contacted us on his phone but about two hours later we lost contact with him despite all efforts to speak to him through his cell phone.”
