THE vice presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Prof. Yemi Osinbajo (SAN) has opened a ‘Drop Your Wish Note’ at the APC’s office in Ajegunle, Lagos.

The vice presidntial hopeful said it is done with the aim of knowing the demands and the wishes of the masses at the grassroots and also to help give his government a direction in meeting the needs and demands of the people when elected.

Speaking at the event, Mr. Toibudeen Olamuyiwa Oduniyi, a change ambassador for Buhari/Osinbajo campaign team, explained that Prof. Osinbajo wants to know the things he needs to bear in mind, so that when elected, the masses will be rest assured that their wishes and needs will be met.

“The note will also help the Buhari/Osinbanjo government to formulate policies that will reflect the reality at the grassroots level. It is also a means of giving voice to the unheard, the unknown, and the unseen Nigerians. And also to tell you that this will be an inclusive government,” he pointed out.

According to Ashekun, the Drop Your Wish Note, allows the people to register their opinions about what is going on in our society, in order to help effect change.

Commending the initiative, Barr. Olatoye Adebayo, a university don, noted that the approach to politics gives hope to the masses, telling them that they have someone who could listen to them and feel their pulse from time to time.
