Pastor Chris Oyakhilome’s global healing programme opens with testimonies

The 14th edition of the Healing Streams Live Healing Services, led by Pastor Chris Oyakhilome, commenced on Friday, with organisers claiming widespread healings and testimonies reported from various countries. The event, broadcast globally from Nigeria, continues over the weekend.

The event, which attracts millions of virtual participants from across continents, is run by the Healing School of Christ Embassy and is streamed in multiple languages via the church’s Loveworld Networks and associated online platforms.

Addressing participants, Pastor Deola Phillips, Director of the Healing School, said: “The beautiful thing about the Healing Streams is that from the very moment it begins, healing starts happening… The whole globe is covered with the Healing Streams.”

Friday’s programme featured musical performances, prayers, and what organisers described as live healing ministrations by Pastor Chris Oyakhilome, during which claims of healing from various ailments were made by participants connecting remotely.

Senior members of Christ Embassy, including Rev. Tom Amenkhienan and Pastor Johan De Beer, provided exhortations, encouraging participants to exercise faith. Rev. Ray Okocha led prayers, urging the audience to “respond to God’s Word with faith.”

The event included a segment where past and present testimonies were shared, with reports of recoveries from conditions including stomach disorders, tumours, and long-standing pain. Specific individuals from the UAE, Congo, Qatar, and Cyprus were spotlighted during the testimony session, including a woman who claimed a breast lump of eight years vanished during the event.

In the main session, Pastor Chris emphasised the importance of faith. “It pays to believe God. Always believe,” he said during his teaching, while laying hands on selected participants.

Organisers also reported a prophetic announcement by Pastor Chris of an upcoming large-scale crusade planned for India, described as part of the church’s global expansion drive.

The Healing Streams Live Healing Services will continue today, Saturday, with millions expected to tune in virtually.

As in previous editions, independent verification of the healing claims could not be immediately ascertained.
