Pilgrims remember T.B Joshua two years after

T.B. Joshua

Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN), Ikotun-Egbe, Lagos, at the weekend, witnessed a mammoth crowd as pilgrims from across the world remembered Prophet Temitope Joshua, two years after his demise.

It was also a moment to partake in the church’s Living Water Service conducted by the leader, Pastor Evelyn Joshua.

Hotels and guesthouses around Ejigbo, Egbe, Ikotun, Idimu, Igando and Egbeda took the advantage of the event to make brisk businesses, while some residents vacated their homes for visitors to make quick money.

Declaring the service open, Joshua thanked God for His faithfulness, enduring mercy and grace for SCOAN in the last two years.

She described the service as a litmus test on how an individual worshiper or pilgrim stands before God.

“It has become a moment of spiritual self-rediscovery in the ultimate journey of life and salvation of soul.

A pilgrim, who attended the programme for the first time, Mobolaoluwa Olotu, said: “What I witnessed by just climbing the altar to pray and fetch living water without any hands being laid on the people, was beyond human imagination. You can just see God’s power manifesting in people.

“There was an explosion of miracles and testimonies in diverse forms, with the blind regaining their sight and those on crutches and wheelchairs walking as they reached the altar.”

Also, a foreigner pilgrim, Angelina Forson, said: “The moment I rolled my body on the altar of prayer, I felt a healing sensation from my neck downwards and that was the end of my chronic cervical spondylosis that had put me in anguish for years.”

Cervical spondylosis is a general term for age-related wear and tear in the cervical spine (neck) that can lead to neck pain, stiffness and other symptoms. Sometimes this condition is called arthritis or osteoarthritis of the neck.

A retired General, who had been bedridden with spinal cord problems for years, Jane Peters, said: “As I stepped on the altar, there was a sudden transformation in my life and health. From that moment, I stopped experiencing incessant bleeding in the operated part of my body and could effectively move and bend my body in an unbelievable manner.”
