Police warn party supporters against disruption of tribunal proceedings

GOMBE State Police Command has warned supporters of political parties against converging at the vicinity of the governorship election petition tribunal sitting in the state.

The police, which gave the warning in Gombe in a press statement signed by the Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Fwaje Attajiri, following several reports of unwarranted political activities allegedly being perpetrated by supporters of two major political parties in the state, said they were prepared to prosecute any individual or group found wanting.
