Sahara Group executives among Africa’s ‘under40 energy women rising stars’ 

Sahara Group has announced the recognition of two of its executives on the African Energy Chamber’s 2025 “20 Under 40 Energy Women Rising Stars” list. This milestone underscores the company’s role in shaping the next generation of energy leadership on the continent.
 
The Head of Integrated Gas Ventures at Asharami Energy, Mariah Lucciano-Gabriel, and the Chief Financial Officer of Egbin Power Plc, Yetunde Sorinola, were named among Africa’s emerging leaders for their contributions to the oil, gas, and power sectors.
 
The yearly list highlights women who are redefining Africa’s energy landscape at a time when the global industry is balancing the imperatives of expanding access to power and advancing a just energy transition.

Executive Director at Sahara Group, Moroti Adedoyin-Adeyinka, described the recognition as proof of the company’s long-standing commitment to grooming leaders who deliver impact across Africa and globally.
