Shettima returns to Abuja from Côte d’Ivoire

Vice President Kashim Shettima has returned to Abuja after attending the opening ceremony of the International Exhibition of Extractive and Energy Resources 2024 conference in Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire.
The conference, held at the Abidjan Exhibition Centre, focused on policies and strategies for the sustainable development of the extractive and energy industries.
It was organised by the Government of Côte d’Ivoire.
Shettima’s visit to Côte d’Ivoire was at the invitation of the country’s Vice President, Tiémoko Meyliet Koné.

The trip coincided with the announcement of President Bola Tinubu’s upcoming visit to France.
The Presidency had announced on Tuesday that President Tinubu would depart Abuja on Wednesday for a state visit to France at the invitation of President Emmanuel Macron.
As of now, President Tinubu has not yet returned to Nigeria from the trip.
