Urges members to forgive offenders at crusade
The General Overseer of The Lord’s Chosen Charismatic Revival Ministries Worldwide, Pastor Lazarus Muoka, has issued a stern warning to his congregation and followers against bringing ill-gotten money as offerings and donations to the church.
Muoka delivered this message during a two-day revival held at the ministry’s headquarters in Ijesha, Lagos State. The event, themed “Wonderful Move of God as of Old,” aimed to inspire the faithful and highlight the enduring power of God through testimonies, deliverance sessions, and prayers.
“Bad money remains bad money and should not be used for offerings and donations in the Church,” Mouka stated during his exaltation. He emphasised that the pursuit of wealth has led many to engage in activities that are displeasing to God and that such proceeds should not support the work of God.
“Don’t invite God’s wrath by smearing the holy temple with fraudulent wealth, for it is an abomination unto God. Instead, make restitution, seek repentance, and be saved now before it is too late,” he urged.
He further counseled members to forgive their offenders and not to speak evil against anybody, saying that when God is moving, he always do things to attract attention like what he did in the time of old, urging members not to lose hope, no matter what they are passing through, assuring them that God has come down to deliver them.
Recall that the church has been in the news, especially online following the members’ unbelievable testimonies and the Church’s popular phrase, “I am a Chosen, who are you.”
Muoka stressed that when people forsake the Lord, God moves like he did in the time of Noah and destroyed the world and preserved Noah and his household. According to him, God is moving again in this generation and will fight for his people.
“Everything that the devil and his demons have done to hinder people’s blessing, freedom, salvation, miracles and deliverance in this programme the Lord will give you testimony. I want to let you know that God has made a promise and his promise is irrevocable. He said he would build his church, and the devil shall not prevail against it. You and I are the church the Lord is building and the devil and his human agents shall not prevail against us. God has done it before in the days of Noah when his generation forsook God, and he moved and destroyed the world and preserved Noah and his people. Therefore, anything that needed to be destroyed God will crush them,” Muoka said.
Reminding the congregation that the revival that took place in the days of Elijah, Elisha, John the Baptist, Jesus Christ and the apostles, Muoka said God is doing the same again in this present generation.
He said: “In the days of Elijah and Elisha God did wonderous things. At Mount Carmel God came down and answered Elijah by fire. The Lord disappointed Ahab and his false prophets and magnified his servant Elijah and brought revival in the land of Israel during the time of Elijah. All the false prophets and false Christians shall know that the God of Elijah is alive, and the God of Elijah is the God of the Lord’s Chosen.”
