Nigerian stars Tems, Burna Boy, Pheelz, BNXN all made Obama’s 2022 summer playlist.

Every year, former US President Barack Obama compiles a list of some of his favorite songs around the world.

For this year, the 44th US president shared his 2022 summer playlist which includes singles by some of Nigeria’s finest acts.

Foremost on the list is “Vibe Out” by Tems followed by Burna Boy’s hit single “Last Last” and Pheelz and BNXN’s (fka Buju) “Finesse.”

In 2020, Wizkid’s award-winning “Essence” featuring Tems made the list of Barack Obama’s favorites.

While in 2019, Burna Boy’s “Anybody” and Rema’s “Iron Man” were featured in the list.

Obama’s 2022 summer playlist also includes Kendrick Lamar’s “Die Hard,” Beyoncé’s “Break My Soul,”  and Rosalía’s “Saoko.”
