President Muhammadu Buhari, yesterday, received the National Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Tinubu and pioneer interim chairman of the party, Chief Bisi Akande, at the State House, Abuja.

The APC leaders were at Aso Villa to sympathise with the President over last Friday’s air crash that killed Chief of Army Staff, Lt.-Gen. Ibrahim Attahiru and 10 other officers in Kaduna.

The duo were joined by other party stalwarts.

Addressing newsmen later, Tinubu opposed Nigeria’s balkanisation, stating that the nation’s unity is non-negotiable.

“We have already made our position clear – that we want one united, peaceful and stable country. A productive and promising one.

“Nigeria is not a rat village. It’s a nation and we want to keep it as one,” he stated.
