Tinubu doesn’t need to campaign for votes in Ebonyi – Umahi
The Minister of Works, David Umahi, has said Ebonyi State which he once governed is loyal to President Bola Tinubu.
He said this when he led former members of his administration to pay a Christmas homage to the Governor of Ebonyi State, Francis Nwifuru, on Friday, January 3, 2025.
Highlighting the level of loyalty the state has for the President, the minister said“If there’s any state where the President does not need to campaign for votes, it’s Ebonyi. We are number one in the Southeast, and we will prove it.”
According to a statement signed by his aide, Francis Nwaze, Umahi used the occasion to commend the Tinubu administration, highlighting the progress achieved under his leadership.
He was quoted as saying,“What we have now under this administration is remarkable. Though some claim we have many projects, it is not more than what other states have. The difference is that our projects are smaller and spread across the state, whereas other states have longer roads.”
Urging Ebonyi residents to pray for the President, he reminded them that before now, the state couldn’t boast of federal presence, but that changed under Tinubu’s administration.
