Tinubu embarks on 10-day working holiday in Europe

President Bola Tinubu will depart Abuja for Europe today (Thursday) to begin a 10-day working vacation, part of his 2025 annual leave.

According to a statement by his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, the President will spend the holiday between France and the United Kingdom before returning to the country.

Tinubu’s trip follows the long-established practice of Nigerian leaders combining official duties with short breaks abroad, often described as working vacations.

The President is expected to use the period to hold informal consultations while also taking time to rest.

In line with constitutional provisions, Vice President Kashim Shettima will oversee state affairs during the President’s absence.
