Tinubu to depart for Japan, Brazil today

President Bola Tinubu will today embark on a two-nation working visit to Japan and Brazil, with a brief stopover in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE).

In Japan, the President will participate in the ninth Tokyo International Conference on African Development (TICAD9) scheduled to hold in Yokohama August 20-22.

Also, in Yokohama, Tinubu will attend plenary sessions, hold bilateral meetings, and engage with the chief executives of leading Japanese firms investing in Nigeria.

Tinubu, in Brazil, will hold bilateral talks with his host, attend a Nigeria-Brazil Business Forum, and witness the signing of agreements and Memoranda of Understanding (MoU) aimed at deepening economic, trade, and technical cooperation.
