The Lagos State Governorship Election Petition Tribunal, yesterday, dismissed the petitions filed against the election of Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu and his deputy, Obafemi Hamzat, by the All People’s Party (APP) and Allied People’s Movement (APM).
Chairman of the three-man tribunal, Justice Arum Igyem Ashom, dismissed the petition, following its withdrawal by the two parties.
Other members are Justice Mikail Abdullahi and Justice Igho P. Braimoh.
At the resumed proceeding, counsel for the two parties, Henry Bello and Francis Ese, told the tribunal that their clients had decided to do away with the petitions.
