Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon Benjamin Kalu, said the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike is living up to expectations on the development of the FCT.

Kalu, in a congratulatory message to Wike who clocked 57 years, noted that it is not surprising that Wike is already replicating the milestones he attained while at the helm in oil-rich Rivers state for eight years.

“You have not failed our expectations after your great outing in Rivers State as Governor. Your impressive outing in the FCT is worthy of emulation. Your legacy will continue to inspire future generations,” he said.

“Your strategic vision and leadership have led to the successful execution of numerous high-impact projects, transforming the lives of millions of citizens.
“From roads and bridges to other public utilities, your ministry has delivered quality infrastructure that has improved connectivity, boosted economic growth, created jobs and enhanced the overall quality of life.

“Your contributions to the development of our country are immeasurable, and your legacy will continue to inspire future generations.”
The Deputy Speaker thereby prayed to God for continuous good health, wisdom, and strength to Wike to continue the developmental strides in the FCT.
