Set to launch Igbo credit bank

The apex Igbo organisation in the Diaspora, World Igbo Congress (WIC), has announced that its convention would be held in the Marriott, Boston, Massachusetts, the United States, between August 29 and 31.

THE Chairman of the Board of Directors of WIC, Dr Festus Okere, has urged the Board, invited Igbo dignitaries, and Igbo community members to finalise their itineraries and secure hotel reservations as soon as possible due to high demand for attendance.

According to Okere, this year’s convention is expected to draw one of the largest crowds ever, considering the current circumstances in our homeland and abroad.

Notable attendees will include Gaius Chibueze, also known as E-Money; the Chairman of Faith Toyota; a representative from the Boston, Massachusetts government, and the PCNI Chairman and Ochiagha of Ndigbo in New England 2025, Valentine Igbobi.

Igbobi has authorised full representation from the People’s Club of Nigeria in the Boston branch for the event. The Umuada Igbo will also attend in significant numbers.

This year marks the launch of the Igbo Federal Credit Union Bank, which is set up to transform Igbo businesses in the Diaspora.
