Ooni-of-Ife-2THE Yoruba Unity Forum (YUF) has said the death of its patron, Ooni of Ife, Oba Okunade Sijuwade, is an irreparable loss.

A statement by the Secretary-General of the body, Senator Anthony Adefuye, which was made available to The Guardian, noted that the late monarch dedicated his life-time to protection and preservation of the dignity of the Yoruba race at home and abroad.

According to him: “He dedicated his life to protection and preservation of the dignity of the Yoruba race at home and in the Diaspora.
