Wife of Super Eagles forward, Mrs Dora Olarenwaju, has faulted claims by her husband on the result of a DNA test conducted on their children recently at the Federal Medical Centre (FMC), Lagos.

The test, said to have been conducted by the player, Kayode Olarenwaju, revealed that he is not the biological father of the three children his wife bore.

According to the report, which is now a subject of debate from within and outside Nigeria, the children belong to a pastor the wife had been having an affair with.

However, the wife has tagged the husband a liar, just as she called on him to make available the said DNA reports to the public.

In her post, made available to The Guardian, yesterday, Dora said: “Olanrewaju Ayobami Kayode, my silence is enough. Don’t ever drag my kids in your web of lies. I urge you to provide the results of the DNA tests to members of the public and the hospital where it was conducted, as we are willing to give you the DNA.

“You traumatised my kids by detaining us in Department of State Services (DSS) custody, and now a DNA. What a great father you are.”

Reports were awash in the media last week on the DNA test and other issues that brought the couple to the spotlight, with the former Super Eagles star claiming that the wife cheated on him with a pastor while still living with him.

The Guardian could not reach the footballer to answer his wife’s claims, as he was said to be away in Europe.

Deoxyribonucleic acid (abbreviated DNA) is the molecule that carries genetic information for the development and functioning of an organism. A DNA test is used to authenticate the paternity of children.
