‘Nigeria produces some of the biggest black talents globally’ Says Osasere

As more people are creating their special place and niche as true professionals in their respective industries, one of the few emerging on the big screen is British-based television, theater and film actor, Kelly Osasare.

Born in Benin, Nigeria to a successful businessman father, Sunday Iyen Omoragbon and a businesswoman mother, Florence Oghator his parents separated when he was just two, leaving him and his younger sister to be raised by their single mother.


At a very tender age, he wanted to be a prince but that faded away when he discovered his passion for acting, “I remember being a young boy, watching movies and been inspired and moved by story telling and fascinated with the craft of performing and telling stories,” he revealed. His passion for acting and film burned brighter daily, even when his family emigrated to Creama, Italy where he went to high school.

After this, he moved to London where he trained at a drama school as a theatre, film and television actor. While on a holiday with friends in Paris, he gained the attention of a media personnel and photographer, who asked him if he was interested in modeling,

He said at that time, he had no plans to go into modeling but went for his first shoot in Paris and things took off from there and he began to model in Paris, Milan Switzerland, London and all over Europe

Using his Instagram to record his work life, it also follows him to some fabulous locations, A-list parties and events, red carpet at Cannes Film festival, The London critics circle awards nomination and other prestigious events. Still emphasizing the idea of magic within the film and modeling industries; he has done amazing work within the movie industry, having been featured in Various TV shows and films working with some amazing persons in the industry.

He has worked with Versace, Calvin Klein, Schwepps and other brands to mention a few,his zealousness and dedication has made him standout. “My motivation is remembering where I come from and how I want to be a good example for others in the world, to let them know everything is possible if you work hard and put your mind to it,” he stated.

Kelly has come a long way already and is still conquering new grounds on the international scenes. He has featured in top magazines and has worked with director Charlie Belleville on his documentary, The Agony and The
Ecstasy, director Tim Kent in Nightclub Office and also featured in Small Axe on BBC among other notable works.
