Eclais, the Nigerian-Canadian artist also known as “Eclais Tender,” surprised fans on Easter Sunday with an unannounced Instagram Live performance. The OOUUU crooner treated fans to a 20-minute set, featuring her popular single and some unreleased tracks from her highly anticipated album, set to release soon.
Eclais took to Instagram earlier in the day to hint at the performance, stating, “I love surprises as much as I love performing, so to perform on Easter Sunday for my fans meant the world to me. My plan was to perform on Valentine’s Day to share love with my followers and fans, but I decided Easter would be better, seeing that it represents the ultimate sacrifice of love.”
The Toronto-based singer-songwriter and rapper is known for her unique style and captivating lyrics that set her apart from other artists. This Instagram Live performance was her first, and she hopes to do many more in the future. “It felt surreal reaching a lot of people via this medium, knowing that anyone can join no matter where they are in the world, as long as they have an internet connection and an Instagram account,” said Eclais.
During the performance, Eclais revealed that she is currently working on a self-styled EP that will be released later this year. She also announced that she will be releasing several singles in the coming months.
