Nigerian health startup CribMD nominated for TTI Global Impact Award

Nigerian e-health startup CribMD has been nominated for the 2021 Top Tier Impact Global Impact Award.

The 2021 TTI Global Impact Awards gives recognition to the most impactful innovators in sustainability and equality worldwide, organisers said.

CribMD connects users with doctors for house calls and telemedicine services via its on-demand platform, allowing them to schedule appointments from the comfort and safety of their home, on their own schedule.

The Nigerian company is nominated in the health and wellness category of the award.

TTI said it is rewarding its Global Impact Awards to the most innovative sustainability-focused companies in health and wellness and seven other categories.

“At TTI, we see the transition towards sustainability and equality as a paradigm shift that is happening across all economic sectors and all regions in the world. Our award categories reflect this belief. The categories are also aligned with the TTI Working Groups, which are active inside our global community of private members,” TTI said on its website.

The winners will be announced during our global awards ceremony, which will take place virtually on Tuesday, August 17 with a special performance and inspiring talks from global changemakers.

TTI said winners of its Global Impact Award will also receive ad hoc support for setting up targeted 1:1 meetings with investors in their specific sectors and for strategic corporate partnerships.

The award is supported by World Economic Forum and United Nations Development Programme (UNDP).
