Nigerian menswear brand, Midetush Bespoke unveils Wedding Suit Guide Portfolio

Weddings are an opportunity to celebrate the bond between two mutually loving people. But, once the question is popped, the date is set, the venue is booked and the invitations have gone out, one question pops up into every groom’s mind:

What will I wear?
The audience chuckled as prominent Creative Director, Olumide Oyewunmi, threw this question at them; at the just concluded Style Chat Symposium, held in Lagos with a presentation of its Wedding Suit Guide portfolio.
‘’What should I look for in a wedding suit? The fit, fabric, colour are the most important elements to put into consideration. Our suits are designed for skinny, tailored slim or regular fit that compliments all body shapes,” his response left them brimming with fulfilment.

He further chronicled some key considerations for selecting a wedding attire: “Fabric type depends on the season (rainy season usually April – September) or (dry season usually December – March), but wool blends are an excellent choice because they’re appropriate for both weather conditions, as they’re breathable and they drape well.

“As the groom, you should consider the wedding theme’s colour palette in your choice of suit. If you’re looking for a multipurpose colour option, navy, grey and black are very versatile choices. Alternatively, ivory and beige are neutral colour choices that exude sophistication and elegance.

“A wedding tuxedo can be the favourite option for most groom-to-be as it can also be worn for other black tie events ranging from dinner and gala. Accessorising with a waistcoat, tuxedo shirt, cummerbund, neck ties, pocket squares, lapel rose, boutonnières will help create different looks to alternate between the ceremony and reception.”
